The autumn will take on Canadian colours at the Observatoire art gallery, on the fifth floor of the BHV Marais department store in Paris, thanks to the ‘Weather Patterns’ installation by Toronto-based premium label Canada Goose. The installation will run from September 6 to 25 and is designed to take “the outdoors indoors.”

The installation’s visitors will be welcomed inside a spiral-shaped shelter. Outside, they will hear “weather sounds from Canada’s cities,” while inside, they will be plunged into a typically Canadian environment.

Canada Goose has worked with Public Studio, a Canadian creative agency, to design the installation, and the shelter is inspired by the work of French modern artist Yves Klein.

Several shades of Klein’s favourite colour, blue, will have pride of place alongside a series of green and golden hues, depicting an abstract landscape. In the same period, the department store will host a Canada Goose pop-up store featuring a selection of jackets, parkas and accessories.

In the 2017-18 financial year, closed on March 31, Canada Goose recorded a revenue rise of 46%, reaching CAD591 million (€386 million).
