Shoe brand Converse is taking over a five-floor building in the heart of Shoreditch to open the ‘Converse One Star Hotel’, a two-day immersive pop-up featuring exclusive sneaker launches and rooms curated by music artists.

The experiential project celebrates the brand’s famous One Star trainers, which are a skate and streetwear favourite.

That anti-conformity heritage has been magnified in the One Star Hotel, with five floors of exclusive One Star merchandise from the Spring 2018 collection, never-before-released and re-released versions of Converse’s most coveted One Star collaborations, and a programme of music and workshops.

There will be rooms curated by A$AP Nast, Yung Lean & MadeMe; a hotel gift shop with exclusive drops and restocks; and bedrooms with huge cotton candy beds to celebrate the launch of the Cotton Candy One Stars.

Daytime workshops include T-shirt screen printing with Paria Farzaneh, a LFW presentation by London-based designer Mimi Wade, and a whole day presented by London youth collective, The Basement.

A line-up of rappers and artists including Princess Nokia, Slowthai, HYUKOH, Siobhan Bell and Skinny Macho will join in the evenings.

The Converse One Star Hotel will be open on 16-17 February at 155 New N Rd, Hoxton.
