Elisabetta Franchi has affirmed her name in Paris. The Italian luxury womenswear brand has opened its first namesake flagship in French capital early March. The designer already had a franchise store in Paris, on rue de Grenelle, but will now sell directly with this new opening.

Located at 12 rue de Castiglione, the new shop is luxuriously positioned between Place Vendôme and the Tuileries. Spanning 130 square metres, the store design sits well the tradition and splendour of the surrounding area; the Italian label claiming the palace Versailles and art deco as sources of inspiration.

This French-inspires boutique follows a series of openings for Elisabetta Franchi across major capital cities. The label has bowed stores in Moscow, Dubai, and Madrid, all inaugurated in recent months.

The Italian brand is focused on international expansion and is eyeing increased visibility in the luxury segment. But, is also enlarging its offering, with the recent release of a ready-to-wear collection for young girls and activewear for women.

Elisabetta Franchi expects an ambitious 50% increase in turnover over the next three years, saying it had surpassed the 100 million euros mark in 2016. The brand boasts more than 20 single-brand stores in Italy and around 50 across the rest of the world, as well as 1,100 multi-brand dealers.
