Sneaker search engine EverySize is planning to enter the US market. In an interview with the business and lifestyle magazine Business Punk, published this January, its CEO and co-founder Denis Falkenstein said: “The goal is to launch in the US this year.”

This is part of the planned internationalization of the largest German sneaker search engine, which has more than 50 integrated shops.

The international expansion will help the business generate further sales growth. “We want to triple our turnover in 2018 to 1.5 million euros,” said Falkenstein to Business Punk. With this in mind, the company has increased its marketing budget, which is currently “just under 30,000 euros a month”. Facebook and Instagram are working very well in the sneaker segment, according to Falkenstein.

The CEO and his partners want to build a community with “content that offers more than just production information”, with the goal of transforming Everysize into the leading source of information in the sneaker retail market. “There is no precedent on the internet. And to keep it that way, we want to get as big as possible and fill the sneaker segment with the Everysize brand," the CEO said.

Connecting sneaker fans with thousands of designs from the world’s top 100 brands, Everysize was launched in 2015 as an online destination featuring sneakers and shoes. Customers can find their ideal shoes by entering a brand’s name, sneaker design or their own shoe size on the website.
