The British e-tailer, leader in the European online beauty business, has appointed Marc Ardisson to the newly created post of General Manager Asia. Feelunique launched its Chinese website in 2015, and Asia is now the second-largest market for the beauty pure player, which is forecasting robust growth in the region.

Before joining Feelunique, Marc Ardisson was Digital and E-commerce Director at Bluebell, where he worked at setting up e-commerce sites for luxury labels on the Asian market. He is also busy as a consultant for groups and brands like L'Oréal and Amore Pacific, chiefly helping their online deployment in Asia.

Marc Ardisson will be based in Hong Kong and reports to Joel Palix (a former director at Clarins), the CEO of Feelunique.

The British beauty e-tailer was founded in 2005, and last April it acquired the French specialist The Beautyst. Feelunique now also operates four brick-and-mortar stores in France. It serves 120 countries with its website and in the 2015-16 fiscal year generated a revenue of €85 million, up 23%.
