PARIS, June 12, 2009 (AFP) - Japan's Yohji Yamamoto is cancelling the house's June catwalk show at Paris men's fashion week due to the crisis.

"This is the first time we have not presented a men's show," a spokeswoman told AFP on Friday 12 June.

"This is due to the economic situation and especially to the fact that we opened a number of boutiques in the last seasons," she added.

Several dozen designers from around the world are due in Paris for the spring-summer men's collections June 25 to 29.

Yohji Yamamoto will present its latest designs in a showroom from June 27.
