After two women were banned from a United Airlines flight earlier this week, Puma has offered 20% off all leggings to United Airlines customers.

Earlier this week, United Airlines stopped two teenagers wearing leggings from boarding a flight. The leggings apparently “violated the company’s dress code policy for ‘pass travelers’”. The ‘pass traveler’ title refers to any United employee or dependants of a United employee. Pass travelers are allowed to travel for free on standby status.

Since the news broke, United has been under fire on social media, with social media users calling the policy ‘sexist’ and ‘intrusive’. Of note, the man the two young women were traveling with was wearing shorts that hit several inches above his knee. He faced no consequences.

According to the United policy, pass travelers are not allowed to wear spandex leggings, ripped jeans, midriff shirts, or flip flops. United stood behind the policy.

In response to this, Puma is offering a 20% “Stay Fly” discount to all United Airlines passengers. All the customers need to do is present their flight ticket at Puma stores.
