H&M has revealed its latest fashion collaboration with platinum-selling recording artist Zara Larsson.

The capsule collection mirrors the young Swedish musician’s playful and empowering songs with bold pink graphics and a ‘Cats against catcalling’ print.

“I am really excited to finally share my collection with H&M. I have had so much fun working with them to design pieces and create a campaign that reflects my personality. I can't wait to see how girls everywhere wear the pieces to add to their own personal style,” said the 19-year old singer and songwriter.

Inspired by her own personal style and created for fierce and feminine women, the collection features edgy street wear pieces such as an oversized hoodie emblazoned with a hot pink design reading words like ‘Equality’, ‘Femeninst’ and ‘Girl Power’.

An oversized distressed denim jacket is elevated with a pink cat print and the message ‘Cats against catcalling’.

The collection’s colour palette is dominated by a range of pinks – a colour chosen because “it’s feminine, powerful and everyone looks good in it,” according to Larsson. Silver and black are used to complement the pink, while velour, denim, mesh fabrics and cotton jersey are the main materials.

“Zara is such an inspiration to fashion and music lovers all around the world. Her energy is so positive and sincere, which together with her was easy to translate into the designs. We also looked a lot at what Zara wears on and off the stage, making sure to incorporate her show-meets-street style,” said Pernilla Wohlfahrt, H&M head of design and creative director.

The capsule collection will be available globally in selected stores, as well as online, from 18 May.
