Luxury lifestyle label Zimmermann has opened a Saint Tropez store this month, the Australian brand's second European store, after opening a London boutique last year.

Located at 58 rue François Sibilli, the 645-square-foot store was designed by Australian architect Don McQualter of Studio McQualter.

Inside, the Zimmermann retail aesthetic has been carried over to France, featuring light colours and earthen tones, as well as Palladiana stone counter tables and a textured render wall.

“We’re so excited to be opening our store in Saint Tropez – apart from it being our first Zimmermann boutique in France, it’s a dream to have a store in such an iconic European destination," said co-Founder, Nicky Zimmermann.

"We spent some time last summer looking for a location and when this position became available we thought it was perfect space to bring a little bit of Zimmermann to the south of France."

Coinciding with the opening of its Saint Tropez store, Zimmermann has released a capsule collection of swim shorts for men. In four colourways and two styles, the collection includes the Boardie, a knee-length cut, and the Shortie, which sits at the mid-thigh region.

The men’s board shorts collection will be available in the Saint Tropez, East Hampton and Bal Harbour retail store locations, as well as exclusively online.
