Hyères International Festival of Fashion 2014: Roshi Porkar and Liselore Frowijn take the Chloé Award

With its strong international aura and credibility in the professional world acquired over the years, the Fashion Festival of Hyères appeals to prestigious, conscious partners and labels, to lend their support to young talent and for this 29th edition, it is Chanel’s turn to offer its exceptional knowledge to the winner of the Jury Grand Prize. Another fashion house, Chloé, official partner of the festival for a third year, awarded its prize and donation of 15000 euros to two young designers, from Austria and Holland respectively, who best knew how to reinterpret the DNA of the French brand.Interviews:Bruno Pavlovsky:This is not the first time that Chanel has appeared at Hyères because it has been a partner of the Noailles house for many years and we needed to find the right time to come here and that is what happened today. I think that it is a brilliant opportunity and for us it is quite an original idea because it’s Chanel but not just Chanel, it is also the Chanel craftsmen who are here in force with Lemarié, Lesage and Paloma and so today we can offer the winner a chance to come and develop a collection with these métiers. Geoffroy de la Bourdonnaye:There are two designers in particular who successfully blended quality of work, their couture knowledge and also the attitude of the Chloé girl who is somebody free, independent and happy. We decided to award two prizes this year.To Liselore. And to Roshi.
