Viktor & Rolf fashion show - Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2016 (with interviews)

Designers: Viktor Horsting and Rolf Snoeren Location: Palais de Tokyo, Paris Inspiration: Due to an iconic piece, the white polo shirt, the duo created sculptured dress in movement that end up invading the whole body including the women’s head. Cubist shapes and faces made with humour.Fabric: The cotton mesh stitched only in whiteTo Note: The Viktor & Rolf black logo appearing on every piece, a wink again to the polo shirt where the label always poses on it... With interviews from Viktor Horsting & Rolf Snoeren:It started with the idea to mix the white polo shirt, like an archetypical garment with a cubist sculpture. First we wanted the sculpture to take over the garment so throughout the show you had the sequence where it became more and more complex and more and more layered and at a certain point you couldn’t even see the face anymore so it was a sequence first garments then sculpture so it was like you didn’t even see the wearer any more. Music of the show (donot reuse for more than 7 days after the show)
