Designer : Giambattista ValliCollection: A cascade of flowers, in macramé, relief or printed for the 14th haute couture collection from the Italian designer. A wardrobe inspired by flower gardens with a succession of long and short silhouettes, evanescent dresses with others more fixed at the waist and cocktail dresses embroidered with flowers and petals. Focus on the draped dresses that delicately fall on the body with freshness. The ending makes room for multilayered dresses of pleated silk tulle, with many flounces and generous volumes in enchanting colours. Interview with Giambattista Valli: They are goddesses who’ve fallen into a wild garden, in this new garden trend, with this slightly wild attitude, abandoned, a bit spontaneous and I loved this idea of taking someone almost irreproachable and making her fall into something completely spontaneous and the idea of giving this freshness. When I put together this collection, I said to myself that I’d really love to compose music with these colours and I really wanted to produce this type of biorhythm, with the notes of colours. It was floating, we felt the wind, this nature, it’s fresh, it’s young, and it was a research into this fresh beauty, this youth, the idea that even at 85 years old, we can have this youth, it’s simply an attitude, it’s about mental posture.Music from the show (for use only in context of the show, under cover of the right to information).
