Roberto Cavalli : Menswear show Spring/Summer 2019

Designer: Paul SurridgeLocation: In the heart of the Galluzzo Charterhouse, a monastery founded in the 14th Century, several kilometres south of Florence. Inspiration: the iconic prints of Roberto Cavalli, revised in a more modern and wearable way. Collection: of course there are animal prints: leopard, lynx, tiger but in a camouflage style, flou, on the knitwear or in intarsia. Spotted on the linings of the trench coats. Snakeskin as well, black and white, tone on tone, very sober. Paul Surridge juggles with the codes of Cavalli, but also comfortable clothing inspired by streetwear. Right down to the sneakers for an urban and relaxed look. To note: the presence of Tim Cook, CEO of Apple sat front row.Focus: on the surprising wax print of vintage digital watches.
