Anthropologie reshuffles leadership team

American retailer Anthropologie announced on Monday several key leadership appointments aimed to take the retailer into its next phase of category and market growth.

Anu Narayanan has been promoted to the expanded role of president of women's: apparel, accessories, weddings, and beauty. In this role, she will take ownership of the beauty and weddings categories, in addition to the women's apparel and accessory business, which she has led since joining Anthropologie in 2018. 

Likewise, on the women's team, Holly Thrasher has been named chief merchandising officer of apparel and weddings. Thrasher joined Anthropologie in July of 2021 from Nordstrom, where she oversees digital merchandising advancement, product evolution, and leadership development. With this appointment, Thrasher will take on the Wedding's category.

Lastly, Aaron Mutscheller joins Anthropologie Group as president of Anthropologie home and terrain. In this role, he will be responsible for Anthropologie's home and garden business across all channels of distribution, lead design and buying, as well as production and global sourcing for the brand. He has over two decades of experience in the home retail and interiors space, and has held leadership positions at Williams Sonoma, Serena & Lily, and most recently, Nickey Kehoe.

Most recently, Anthropologie celebrated its 30th Anniversary. It reaches customers in over 100 countries and operates more than 200 stores around the world.
