Antony Morato opens debut store in India
Italian menswear brand Antony Morato has opened its first flagship store in the Indian market. The store launched at India’s second largest luxury shopping centre, the Palladium Mall, in Mumbai.
Spreading over 160 sq mts, the shop features furniture and interiors designed in line with the brand’s aesthetic codes, following the newly-opened Antony Morato store in Paris at 44 rue Etienne Marcel.
The Parisian store, like the one in Bombay, has been built around a design concept where traditional materials and industrial elements are reinterpreted with a contemporary approach.
The official opening party of the new Mumbai store was held on 5 May and included a fashion show showcasing the brand’s new Spring Summer 2018 collection.
For the company, the opening marks the strengthening of Antony Morato’s presence in India, a market where it has already a strong distribution. The first store in Bombay will be followed with a second opening in New Delhi, as per the company’s plans.
Founded in 2007 and led by Raffaele Caldarelli, Antony Morato is an international brand with own stores in Europe, Asia and South America. The company has offices in Germany, Spain and France, as well as headquarters in Italy.
