The news comes shortly after Alexandra Shulman left the title and Fashion Director Lucinda Chambers went public to say that she had been sacked.

Coddington is a model-turned-fashion director who made a major mark during her time at US Vogue under Anna Wintour. It marks a return to the British edition for her.

Meanwhile Moss and Campbell have had a long and close relationship with the title and have been among its most popular cover stars during their careers.

Enninful said of his new appointments: “As two of the biggest international style influencers and supermodels, the impact Naomi and Kate have in today’s culture is enormous. Being an acclaimed filmmaker, Steve will bring an increased depth to the arts within the magazine. Grace’s relationship with Vogue started at a very young age. She has become synonymous with the title and is as much loved in Britain as is she is globally.”

McQueen is the most off-the-wall of the quartet of appointments. The director won multiple award for his movie 12 Years a Slave and has also has also received the Turner Prize for his artwork.
