Brooks Brothers enters Thailand with Bangkok store

American menswear icon Brooks Brothers has entered Thailand, opening its premier store in Bangkok's ​Gaysorn Shopping Mall.

A premium tailoring brand, Brooks Brothers is also planning additional stores in the Thai capital across other high-end malls.

The new Brooks Brothers Thailand store is designed with rich wooden floors and shelves stocking the latest men's apparel patterned in checks, plaids, gingham and stripes.

Appealing to the humid Thai climate, the Bangkok store also features Brooks Brothers' famous seersucker for summer, which it produced as early as the 1950s.

Brooks Brothers, a private company owned by an Italian billionaire, launched in the US in 1818 and is the oldest retailer in the US.
