Buckle reports Q4 and full year results

The Buckle Inc. reported positive results for Q4 and full year 2014. The company saw an increase in net sales and net income for the quarter and the full year.

For the fourth quarter, Buckle Inc. net sales increased to $353.5 million from $339 million in the previous year. Store net sales increased 1.1 percent while online sales increased by 12.6 percent. Net income increased slightly to $60.1 million from $59.3 million.
 
For the full year, the company saw net sales increase to $1.153 billion from $1.128 billion in the previous year with online sales accounting for $94.3 million compared to $89 million from the previous year. Despite this, the company’s income stayed relatively flat at $162.6 million.

Buckle began as Mills Clothing, a men's clothing store in Nebraska and today operates over 450 retail stores in 44 states.
