Carven has just announced the appointment of Alexis Martial and Adrien Caillaudaud as the label's new creative directors for women's collections.

Carven's CEO, Henri Sebaoun, had already hinted that the replacement for William Henry, who has moved over to Nina Ricci, could in fact be a duo. Barnabé Hardy, meanwhile, had already been announced as Carven's new creative director for men's collections in January during Paris men's fashion week.

Prior to joining Carven, Alexis Martial served as creative director at Iceberg. His career began in 2007 at Givenchy, as a knitwear designer for its ready-to-wear and couture lines.

Adrien Caillaudaud previously worked for Givenchy alongside creative director Riccardo Tisci on footwear and accessories lines, and before that at Marc Jacobs

"We warmly welcome Alexis and Adrien to Carven as we continue to define a Parisian and fresh elegance for the woman of today," said Sebaoun in a statement.
