Carter plans to start opening its independent stores in December this year. Two of them will be located in the Chilean capital Santiago, at the Costanera Center and the Portal La Dehesa mall, while the other two will be in the southern cities of La Serena and Concepción.

As of November 19th, Carter’s concession stores will open at Tiendas París branches in Santiago (Alto Las Condes, Parque Arauco, Mall Plaza Vespucio and Mall Plaza Oeste), as well as in Concepción and Rancagua.

International Carter stores generate 10% of its revenue, which reaches 3 billion dollars a year.

The brand was founded by William Carter in Massachussets in 1985. It is currently the largest baby and children’s clothing retailer in the US.
