In collaboration with actress and fashion muse Chloë Sevigny, the luxury retailer launched a vintage section to its online store. According to Vestiaire, the offerings will include some of the rarest vintage pieces in the world.

To celebrate the new vintage site, Sevigny and Kate Foley, Vestiaire’s contributing fashion director, hosted a launch party in New York City, which invited guests such as models Jessica Hart and Daniela Braga.

The new vintage section will sell pieces from the likes of Chanel, Dior and Maison Martin Margiela, with many of the items selected personally by Sevigny. “Chloë Sevigny is Vestiaire Collective’s vintage muse because she has always been such a huge champion of vintage and has a wonderful, unexpected way of wearing vintage that can only come from deep understanding and love of fashion from past decades,” Foley said of Sevigny’s involvement. According to Foley, the new vintage section will continue Vestiaire’s philosophy of helping shoppers make more careful and considered purchase.

The actress has participated in collaborations with many fashion designers and brands. In 2014 she created a collection for Opening Ceremony based on her individual style. She has also modeled for the likes of Miu Miu.

Vestiaire Collective launched in 2009 and sells pre-owned luxury fashion goods. It currently has offices in New York and major European cities such as Paris and Berlin.
