French lifestyle brand Cuisse de Grenouille this week launched its first-ever women’s collection. The collection, which first debuted in spring 2016, is in response to women’s increasing demand for the brand.

Cuisse de Grenouille offers 28 styles for women including short sleeve dresses, solid and pattern shirting, t-shirts, graphic sweatshirts and patterned skirts. The women’s collection is a solid balance between classic women’s fashion and a “borrowed from the boys” style that appeases the customer that bought the men’s products.

The women’s “Surf in Paris” sweatshirts, knit sweaters and dresses are standouts for the collection, and if the brand’s website is any indication then outerwear and shoes will be introduced very soon.

Founded in 2010, Cuisse de Grenouille is brothers Lucas and Severin Bonnichon’s take on vintage, 1960s surf and draws inspiration from icons of that era like Steve McQueen and Robert Redford. The French brand launched with a collection of board of shorts and quickly expanded to a full men’s lifestyle brand. Today, Cuisse de Grenouille operates four stores in France in Paris and Cannes.
