Douglas appoints new CFO

From 1st January 2017, Michael Rauch will take over as CFO for German perfumery chain Douglas, the parent company of French retailer Nocibé. He will succeed Erika Tertilt. Tertilt has acted as Douglas' CFO in the last four years, but does not wish to relocate to Düsseldorf, where the perfumery chain's international headquarters will move to in October.

Michael Rauch was formerly the CFO for the adhesive division of German consumer goods group Henkel, and has also worked in the same role for Henkel's beauty products division (Fa, Diadermine, Syoss, Scorpio, Schwarzkopf, etc.).

Isabelle Parize, the Douglas group's French CEO, has stated in a press release: "We are eager to welcome Michael Rauch, who will be an asset for our management team in pursuing our European omni-channel strategy."

Douglas currently operates 1,700 stores in 19 countries, and has reported a revenue of €2.6 billion for the fiscal year closed on 30th September 2015.
