Dsquared2, the fashion label founded by Canadian twins Dean and Dan Caten, opened this month a boutique in Moscow, in the exclusive Vremena Goda mall.

Visitors are welcomed into the 130-square-meter luxury boutique via a large entrance and into a space that is distinguished by chromatic aspects, which was chosen to “create a light space that emphasizes the versatility of the brand that is always coherent and at the same time highly creative.”

Inside, the space is divided in three areas characterized by lacquered wood and brass, and a contrast of rough stones and unfinished plaster, while the areas are connected by two passages covered in brass and satin steel. Each room is unique and sectioned into different moods where marbles, carpets, cements and raw materials coexist.

Meanwhile, the furniture and fixtures of the boutique were custom-made, from seats to lamps, from marble tables to furniture that recall an aesthetic of the past in a contemporary way.

The shop carries iconic pieces from Dsquared2's past collections including a capsule line of cocktail and evening gowns for women; the classic collection - a line of Italian tailored suits and tuxedos - for men, as well as accessories, beachwear, underwear and pet collections.

Dsquared2 celebrated its 25th anniversary earlier this year, in Milan. The Canadian-born brothers have established themselves as one of the greatest foreign success stories in Italian fashion, since arriving over a quarter century ago.

The designers have dressed everyone from Madonna and Beyoncé, to football fashion – where they currently dress the two-time English Premiership Champions, Manchester City.

The company equally operates stores across the world including in Milan, Paris, Mykonos, Dubai, Tokyo, and more.
