Former Pumpkin Patch CEO returns to Hallenstein Glasson

Humphries previously held the role of managing director at Glassons Limited and executive director of Hallenstein Glasson Holdings Limited. Most recently she was chief executive at children’s clothing retailer Pumpkin Patch.

“Di has an in-depth understanding of the Glassons business having built Glassons to its most successful period when she was with the company between 2000 and 2012,” said Hallenstein Glasson CEO, Graeme Popplewell.

“The Board and I are confident that Di will grow the business, improve profitability and strengthen our position in New Zealand and Australia as more global players enter these markets."

Humphries said Glassons’ strength and point of difference is the brand’s understanding of its customers and their respective markets. “For our customers fashion is fast, it’s unique to New Zealand or Australia and we need to constantly respond to the changing desires of our customers,” she said.

Humphries said her time away from Hallenstein Glasson gave her fresh perspective on both its challenges and opportunities.

Humphries will assume the role effective immediately.
