British eveningwear brand Galvan has chosen New York for its first ever international retail space, where it has replicated the same multifunctional format debuted at its headquarters in Notting Hill, London.

The space combines an office, workspace, showroom, archive and bridal atelier in a single ‘studio’ concept, with furniture and artwork from artist Facundo Quinto Huidobro curated by Charles Bals of creative agency AnotherSlang and key pieces from designer Mario Milana.

The studio, located in SoHo, New York, offers a series of customer services such as complimentary fittings for online purchases and the ability to pre-order from next collections and place orders from previous collections.

The brand is also offering home delivery by a sales assistant who can do complimentary fittings and bring additional sizes for a customer to try.

“Our philosophy is to put the customer at the core of everything we do, and to make the shopping experience as effortless as possible,” said Paul O'Regan, chief executive officer of the brand.

“The United States is already our second largest market in terms of direct sales, and New York is the natural first location for our international expansion. We are thrilled to offer a product offering and suite of services that truly address the shopping desires and habits of our North American customers.”

The London-based label was established in 2014 and has quickly become a favourite with celebrities including Rosie Huntingdon-Whiteley, Saoirse Ronan, Kate Beckinsale, Jessica Alba, Nicole Richie and Heidi Klum for their red carpet appearances.
