Gant names new chief financial officer

Clothing brand Gant has announced the appointment of Thomas Dunaker as chief financial officer, succeeding Pär Christiansen who left the company in June.

Dunaker joined Gant as global head of commercial finance and group business in February, and has held the position of CFO on an interim basis since Christiansen’s departure.

He has over 20 years of experience in financial management and building global teams. He has been described as a “key player” and a “great asset” to Gant’s financial team.

“With his result and service-oriented mindset, extensive operational knowledge, and strong leadership skills, I am confident that Thomas is the right person to lead the finance team and be part of taking Gant to the next level”, said Brian Grevy, chief executive officer at Gant.

Dunaker added: “I’m excited to take on this new role. Gant is a well-established global brand with tremendous heritage and great growth potential. I am looking forward to working with the team to further strengthen the company.”

Before joining the Stockholm-based clothing brand, Dunaker was chief financial officer at Scandinavian fashion retailer JC
