Guess? Inc has announced that MCM’s CFO Markus Neubrand is to join it as CFO as of 1 August. He’ll succeed Interim CFO Dennis Secor, who will remain with the company as executive VP through to the end of March next year “to support a smooth transition”.

Neubrand brings two decades of finance and operations experience in the fashion industry to the table. As mentioned, he’s currently CFO of MCM, a role he’s held since January 2021.

Previously, he spent 17 years at Hugo Boss, “in roles of increasing responsibility”, including MD Scandinavia and group director financial planning at the HQ in Germany, culminating with his role as COO and CFO of Hugo Boss Americas from 2014 to 2020.

Additionally, Fabrice Benarouche has been promoted to senior VP finance, investor relations and chief accounting officer, effective immediately.

CEO Carlos Alberini said the group had conducted a “rigorous search process” with the incoming CFO being “an accomplished finance and operating executive who also brings deep apparel industry experience and strong leadership, operational and strategy skills”.

He added that the business is “pleased to recognise Fabrice’s contributions to Guess? with his promotion and expanded responsibilities”.

And he thanked Secor “for his service over the past year. We are grateful that he will continue to support the team in the coming months to help ensure a smooth transition”.
