Everyone’s favourite Frenchie, Isabel Marant, has opened a new store in South Korea. The store is located at 99-14 Cheongdam-Dong in the Gangnam district – a wealthy, modern, shopping centre-filled area of the city. As in Hong Kong in the spring and in Tokyo in August, the Parisian designer handed over the reins to French architects Ciguë to create a concept that rings to true to her global image.

2013 should see a further 15 Isabel Marant stores opening

Two indoor gardens lead to the stores front, who’s interior is made froml wood, metal and granite. The Seoul store is part of a glabal expansion plan that was announced in 2012. The brand hopes to have a further 15 international stores before the end of 2013.

The next stops on the Isabel Marant global tour are Los Angeles, Shanghai and London. Aside from the designer’s stores, the brand is sold in 650 multi-brand stores across the world. A new flagship store was unveiled in Paris just a few weeks ago.
