London-based fashion brand Issa, which was founded in 2006 but begun a rebranding and revival last year, when it showed at London Fashion Week for the first time, has promoted its Head of Design, Jamie O'Hare, to Creative Director.

O'Hare's first collection for Issa as Creative Director will be unveiled at London Fashion Week this month. O'Hare is an MA Womenswear Design graduate from the Royal College of Art and worked at Max Mara, Chloe and Roberto Cavalli before joining the Issa team in 2013.

Issa Chairwoman Camilla Al Fayed comments, “Jamie has a great understanding of the Issa brand values, and is dedicated to its evolution. I am delighted to announce his appointment as Creative Director and feel huge excitement about the future.”

“It is an honour to be leading such a talented design team. We are all passionate about further developing the Issa brand.” says O’Hare.

Issa says O'Hare will continue to develop its feminine, glamourous designs but also elevate and expand Issa's product offering. He replaces Blue Farrier, whose first collection for Issa was well received, but who left the house in October.
