Celebrity one-of-a-kind jeweler Jason of Beverly Hills will be heading to Tokyo for its first international boutique opening soon.

Founded in 2002, the brand gained acclaim for creating custom one-of-a-kind pieces for clients including Matthew McConaughey, Sean Combs, Kim Kardashian, and the late Michael Jackson. It has made 3 NBA Championship rings and rings for the World Series of Poker in the US and Europe.

Jason of Beverly Hills currently has 4 boutique locations: Beverly Hills, Las Vegas, Miami and Charlotte, NC. Its Beverly Hills showroom has a $100,000 minimum purchase per appointment requirement. It updated its Instagram account to include Tokyo in the boutique locations, and last week posted a picture of work being done on its new store.

While Marketwatch reported Japan retail sales slipped again in December 2015 over the previous year, and that “it was the second consecutive monthly fall after a 1.1% decline in November, according to figures released Thursday by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry,” the Tokyo store is part of a bigger development plan for the Ginza shopping district. Also on track for a spring opening in Ginza will be Japan’s largest duty free experience of Lotte Duty Free.
