Just Around The Corner adds premium section, targetsIreland and Europe
Manchester and London trade show Just Around The Corner is adding The Edit, a dedicated space for premium women’s brands, to its forthcoming August edition.
The fast-growing show — which takes place at Manchester’s Freight Island venue from 2-3 August and London’s Truman Brewery from 7-9 August — said the new premium spaces come in response to “the snowballing demand which Just Around The Corner has received from the contemporary women’s fashion sector”.
The expansion also comes as the organisers launch a high-profile marketing campaign targeting Ireland and mainland Europe.
Event founder Juls Dawson said the SS23 shows will come after the AW22 events attracted “over 2,000 of the country’s best fashion buyers”. Dawson added that the company has been “inundated by enquiries from fashion brands looking for an opportunity to meet with the UK’s fashion buyers in a real live environment. The response from the premium women’s fashion sector was particularly pronounced, hence the decision to launch a dedicated space curated specifically for [them].”
The Edit will sit alongside Just Around The Corner’s main exhibition areas that are focused on commercially established and emerging brands from both the men’s and women’s fashion sectors. The show will also extend its presentation of “fashion-forward sustainable brands” for both men and women, which debuted last season.
The Manchester edition also sees the addition of various outside networking spaces with bars and seating zones, with views across the Mayfield Park (the first park to be built in Manchester for over 100 years).
