The French beauty conglomerate announced today that it would be partnering with Perfect Corp, the creator of the YouCam Makeup app which allows users to virtually try on different makeup looks. The companies first worked together during this year’s Cannes Film Festival, when YouCam Makeup created 64 virtual makeup looks using products from the L’Oréal Paris line.

“Virtual make up, livestreaming, augmented reality shopping are key features in a modern beauty journey that mixes online and offline. These services delight our consumers and increase conversion rates for our brands,” Lubomira Rochet, chief digital officer of L’Oréal, said in a statement.

“This partnership allows beauty fans around the world to experience L’Oréal products like never before and represents a significant milestone that transforms the way consumers discover, try and buy beauty,” Perfect Corp. CEO Alice Chang said in a statement.

With the new partnership, YouCam Makeup Users will be able to create looks with brands from across the L’Oréal portfolio. The French makeup conglomerate owns beauty brands such as Maybelline, Lancôme and Yves Saint Laurent.

The YouCam Makeup app was launched in 2014 and is part of a group of virtual reality apps such as YouCam Nails and YouCam Fun. The app is available for free for iOS and Android users.
