During the John Galliano spring-summer 2010 fashion show in Paris on Friday 26 June each of the models, at the risk of stating the obvious, wore a pair of shoes. The difference this time was that these shoes were produced under licence for the designer, a licence entrusted to Rodolfo Zengarini.

Rodolfo Zengarini, a luxury shoe specialist, currently works with John Richmond, Calvin Klein, Alessandro Dell’Acqua and Byblos, among others.

With John Galliano the company is not only expanding its brand portfolio, above all it allows the label to stretch into the world of menswear.

Alongside an off-the-peg range (with Gibo) and now footwear, John Galliano intends to add underwear and perfumes to his range of products next.

Signed for a five year term, the licensing partnership with Rodolfo Zengarini covers the design, manufacture and distribution of John Galliano brand shoes.
