Louis Vuitton to show Cruise collection in Rio

Louis Vuitton is the latest fashion house to announce the exotic location of its upcoming cruise show.

The French brand will showcase its Cruise collection in Rio de Janeiro on May 28 under the leadership of Artistic Director Nicolas Ghesquière.

The house joins Chanel in choosing a glamorous destination for the runway reveal of 2017's Resort fashion collections, with the French house kicking off the Cruise season in Havana, Cuba, on May 3.

Italian label Gucci is staying closer to home for its June 2 show and is heading to London.
