Matchesfashion.com will become the 26th office occupier at The Shard and the second major fashion brand, joining Tiffany, which also has its office there. Matchesfashion.com has taken a 35,000 sqft. office space over Levels 7 and 8. The area around London Bridge is becoming more attractive for companies, as there is an expanding creative community here.

Close by is the London Fashion and Textiles Museum, as well as contemporary art gallery White Cube and popular artisan food market Borough Market. The Shard also recently hosted The British Fashion Council and Vogue Designer Fashion Fund’s awards judging panel, which included Victoria Beckham, Samantha Cameron and British Vogue’s Alexandra Shulman.

Tom Chapman, Co-Executive Chairman, Matchesfashion.com, said: “As we enter 2016 there is great momentum around Matchesfashion.com. In our 28 years in luxury Ruth and I have never felt more inspired about the opportunities ahead – marked by this move to The Shard, the peak of London’s iconic skyline. As we continue to expand globally we will have London as our backdrop in this emerging hub of e-commerce and technology. Our growth is the result of our incredible people."

"This move will see us connect over 300 of 500 employees over two floors and 35,000 sqft. of light, dynamic space. We will see our five London offices come together and strengthen the inter-connectivity between departments, from buying to tech, ecommerce and content. This inspirational working environment will maximise our unique position as the only true modern luxury shopping destination and continue to attract the best talent," he concluded.

Matchesfashion.com is currently expanding, and recently named Richard Johnson its new Commercial Director.
