Premium shoe chain Kurt Geiger has also signed on for the newly rebranded centre (it used to be called the Outlet), as has Japan’s Asics

Kurt Geiger will open its 1,287 sq ft store in July with Asics set to be the first fo the trio that’s ready as it will open the doors of its 2,163 sq ft unit next month.

News of the trio of shoe names comes after last month’s high-profile relaunch of the centre. The events to mark its rebranding helped drive a 26% footfall increase in its first two weekends, which is some achievement at a time when visitor traffic to physical stores is dropping across the country.

But more importantly, sales growth on the opening weekends outstripped the footfall increase, with sales rising as much as 33%.

In the past year, the mall has also seen openings from Jack and Jones, Ulster Weavers and The Beauty Outlet, which joined existing tenants Nike, Timberland, Calvin Klein, LK Bennett, Paul Costelloe and Jaeger.
The company also promised more announcements on new names joining the list soon.
