Estée Lauder is continuing to expand the team of its latest beauty license, Balmain Beauty. After having appointed Guillaume Jesel a few days ago as president, global brands of Tom Ford Beauty and Balmain Beauty, the American cosmetics group has promoted Nathalie Berger Duquene to global general manager of Balmain Beauty.

"With more than 20 years of experience in luxury beauty marketing, Nathalie Berger Duquene is ideally suited to take on this position and to help bring our new visionary luxury brand, Balmain Beauty, to market," said Jesel, who will be overseeing the new manager.

Duquene joined the Estée Lauder Group in June 2019 as vice president, general manager of Tom Ford Beauty and Kilian Paris for the Europe, Middle East and Africa region. Since October 2020 she held the position of senior vice president, global marketing for Tom Ford Beauty.

Before joining the Estée Lauder group, Duquene worked at Guerlain prior to joining the L'Oréal group in 2005, where she worked for more than 10 years, notably as general manager of the perfume division, overseeing the Armani brand as well as other designer brands owned by the global beauty giant.

On September 26, two days before Balmain's Spring/Summer 2023 fashion show, the American group Estée Lauder announced it had signed a licensing agreement for the development, design and distribution of the Balmain beauty line. Its first products are scheduled to be released in the fall of 2024.
