Nathy Peluso and Desigual are taking their collaboration one step further. The Argentinean singer and the Spanish brand joined forces for the first time last July, when Peluso starred in the brand's autumn campaign. This time around, a limited-edition collection designed by the artist herself will be launched in April.

The Latin Grammy Award-winner for Best Alternative album is now exploring a new career path by designing garments together with Desigual's creative team, which she will do while continuing to serve as Desigual's brand ambassador throughout the year 2023.

The collection will soon be available online and in select points of sale, and will offer inclusive accessories and garments designed to suit different body types. According to Desigual, many of the pieces were modeled directly on the singer's figure. "I think it's very nice for girls who have my body type to feel comfortable with garments like the ones we are creating," said Peluso.

Although we will have to wait a few weeks to view the entire collection, a video-teaser shot by Manson has already been released in which the Argentinian wears a red bodysuit with a versatile hood; as well as a black and white portrait, in which only a white strapless top can be seen.

"It's been a lot of fun and it's nice to work with people who get to know you little by little, who respect your ideas and your concepts," said the singer, about her recently announced collaboration with Desigual. And she added: "The more I grow, the more I realize how artistic fashion is. It's like making a song... It has a lot of conceptual information, a lot of emotional information and I find it very inspiring".

Founded in Barcelona in 1984, Desigual has had a long history intrinsically linked to collaborations. From more established ones, such as its long-term alliance with French couturier Christian Lacroix, to more recent ones, like collections created in collaboration with designers Maitrepierre and Esteban Cortázar. In the music field, the brand led by Thomas Meyer has already partnered up with the singer, Aleesha, in 2019.

Present in 109 countries through 10 retail channels, with 393 mono-brand stores and six product categories, Desigual increased its turnover by 3.4% to 371 million euros in the past fiscal year.
