Neiman Marcus CMO Wanda Gierhart to step down

The American press is reporting that Wanda Gierhart, the Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer of Neiman Marcus Group, will step down from the company to focus on other interests.

Gierhart joined Neiman Marcus in 2009 as SVP and CMO. She oversaw the marketing and branding of Neiman Marcus and is credited for her global marketing, digital and mobile marketing, social media, e-commerce, merchandising and retail management expertise.
 
The University of Nebraska-Lincoln graduate joined Neiman Marcus after serving as CEO and President of TravelSmith, EVP Marketing and Merchandising at Design Within Reach, and EVP Chief Marketing Officer of Limited Brands.

Gierhart’s last day with the company will be announced on a later date and her successor has not been named yet.
