After five years as Odlo's general manager, Knut Are Høgberg is handing over the reins. His successor, Daniel Eppler, will take over the management of the Norwegian-born, Swiss-based outdoor brand on January 1. He will also take over as chief operating officer of the Monte Rosa Sport group, owner of the Henry Lloyd brand since last year, as well as the Norwegian woolen goods producer Janus.

The new CEO will remain in his current role until the end of the year, as Nike's vice-president Europe Middle East Africa, in charge of sales and partner relations. In his new position he will report to Hugo Maurstad, chairman of the board of Monte Rosa Sport, which took over Odlo in 2021.

During his tenure, Høgberg ensured among other things, the continuity of operations during the takeover of the company. "We would like to thank Knut Are for his efforts and leadership in taking Odlo from a difficult situation to a successful and financially strong company," said Hugo Maurstad, majority owner of Odlo.

"Continued improvements in profitability, gross margins, a more focused product portfolio and geographic coverage have proven successful. We now have a solid platform for further growth. Daniel will now take over Odlo, Janus and Henri-Lloyd. His experience, skills and the network he has built over two decades of working with Nike in the European markets have prepared him well for this challenge. We have exciting brands and great opportunities ahead of us."

The group did not, however, specify its revenue. Odlo, which achieved 125 million euros in sales in 2018 intended, before the Covid period, to pass the 200 million euro mark in sales.
