As of August 2, Rodembusch will be in charge of all Pandora’s business dealings in North America and will report to the company’s chief commercial officer, Martino Pessina. The company’s North America business is the largest of its ten geographical clusters, accounting for 24 percent of company revenue. The cluster employs more than 3,000 people and covers 1,500 points-of-sale in the U.S., Canada and the Caribbean, including 500 concept stores.

Rodembusch joins the Danish jewellery maker from Tiffany & Co., where he has spent more than ten years in international leadership roles, and most recently served as senior vice president for the Americas.

Last month, Pandora announced a push for growth in the United States and China, and potential expansion into new areas such as watches and bags. It had a strong start to 2021, thanks to online sales and the impact of stimulus packages in the United States, despite 30 percent of its 2,700 stores worldwide being closed during the first three months of the year, due to Covid-19 measures.

Pandora also recently announced that it will stop selling mined diamonds and will focus on more affordable, sustainable, lab-grown gems.
