Patou, the historic Paris house currently enjoying a rapid renewal, has celebrated the reopening of Paris this week with a brand new pop-up store in department store Bon Marché.

The new space is located on the second floor of Paris' famous Bon Marché, located in the tony seventh arrondissement; surrounded by prestigious architectural jewels like the lately renovated Hotel Lutetia.

Patou, which itself has headquarters on Île de la Cité, barely 100 yards from Notre Dame, was relaunched in 2018 by LVMH, the giant French luxury conglomerate, which also owns Bon Marché.

Stripes, Indian prints and colorful patterns are the key Patou references for an ideal summer break. A rather complete panoply that can be shopped either online or in the store – ranging from the classical colorful bio-cotton tote or embellished pareos to swimsuits, T-shirts, shirts or dresses. All the way to summer’s eternal friend – a deckchair sunk in the sand.  Respecting sustainability values, Patou has developed multiple looks in 100% biological cotton, priced at €395.

“Stripes or Indian prints, poolside or seaside; a sarong to lay like a lizard in the sun; a basket for the farmers market. Patou always, Patou everywhere, Patou beach,” trilled the sophisticated label in its release.
