Italian womenswear label Patrizia Pepe is stepping up the pace of its 'Hub' stores’ deployment, with three new openings planned in France by the end of the year. Patrizia Pepe introduced Hub a year ago, and will launch the concept in France with stores extending between 40 and 80 square metres on rue Royale and rue Bonaparte in Paris, and rue d’Antibes in Cannes.

Patrizia Pepe Hubs are installed within pre-existing spaces, with no need for architectural or structural interventions. Each store's layout is customised using modular elements, and no extra furniture or fixtures need to be produced. All the main interior decoration elements, from steel tubing to cement bricks and even clothes racks, are endlessly recyclable and reusable. The stores feature energy-efficient illumination to save electricity, underscoring the sustainable approach used in developing the new concept, in line with current environmental issues and priorities.

“The concept is bold, innovative and unconventional,” said Patrizia Bambi, creative director of Patrizia Pepe. “It’s a new way of connecting with the public, via container spaces able to showcase each collection’s key items with a display architecture that is both flexible and sustainable, chiefly for its ability to be disassembled and reassembled virtually anywhere, notably reducing the impact of new interior design projects,” she added.

The Patrizia Pepe Hub format has been deployed on Corso Vercelli and Corso Buenos Aires in Milan; on via Cola di Rienzo in Rome; via Santa Caterina a Chiaia in Naples; via Sparano da Bari in Bari; and on Leidsestraat in Amsterdam.
