Beverly Sonego, the newest guest on the LuxurynsightXFashionNetwork podcast, chats with Olivier Guyot, the editor-in-chief of FashionNetwork.com, about the challenges of the circular economy in the luxury market.

Luxurynsight X FashionNetwork · Ep 58: Beverly Sonego talks to Olivier Guyot about “Selling Second-Hand Luxury” FR

The entrepreneur brought to life her passion for exceptional fashion and leather goods by creating Monogram Paris (formerly known as ByLuxe) over ten years ago, a physical and online second-hand concept store dedicated to high-end and luxury goods, which functions like a classic retail outlet.

From the tips she received from the salesmen of avenue Montaigne and rue Saint-Honoré, to her current eco-responsible offer, she details (in French) how the authentication of designer pieces is essential when navigating the second-hand and vintage luxury scene, and avoiding counterfeits.

After a pop-up in New York and a stopover in Los Angeles last May, Monogram Paris is settling down in the French capital in a 160-square-meter space at 12-14, avenue Victor Hugo. In addition to ready-to-wear items, a selection of cosmetics and lifestyle books are on display.

The interview with Olivier Guyot was conducted ahead of the opening, which represents a key step in the brand's development. The company will have a turnover of more than six million euros by 2021 and has announced that it wants to reach 13 million euros next year.
