The Boohoo Group-owned brand is to take 4,375 sq ft space on Great Portland Street, the area known for fashion brand showrooms in the capital. It will be open for use from April and follows similar openings in Paris and Miami, reported The London Evening Standard newspaper.

It said the new space, located close to parent Boohoo brand’s Soho Office, will act as a private showroom and “content creator hub… welcoming influencers, press, celebrities, and stylists. There will also be meeting rooms, office space and a photo studio.

PLT marketing director Nicki Capstick said: “We are thrilled to be opening another iconic showroom in the heart of London. Since our launch in 2012, we have built a strong portfolio of showrooms and are excited to expand our offering to the pool of talent we work with throughout the UK.”

In latest results available for the 12 months to 28 February 2022,  PrettyLittleThing reported a slender rise in annual sales, driven by positive performances in its core UK and US markets.

The brand posted revenues of £712.2 million, up from the £710.1 million recorded in the prior year. Sales in the UK increased 6.4% and in the US by a slim 0.1%. But they fell 13.8% in mainland Europe and by 21.3% in the RoW region.

Pre-tax profits fell to £75.1 million from £98.7 million over the same period, also hurt by £11.6 million of costs related to the £125 million automation of its Sheffield warehouse.
