Quiz launches TV campaign for TOWIE collab
As preparation for the party season start to pick up pace, fast fashion retailer Quiz Clothing has appointed Media Agency Group (MAG) to drive awareness of its brand via a national TV campaign endorsed by the cast of ITVBe show The only Way is Essex (TOWIE).
The move follows the company launching a Quiz x TOWIE Party Edit collection, which debuted on Sunday. It accompanied the launch with the first key spot in an episode of TOWIE whose audience is likely to correlate closely with Quiz shoppers.
The creative includes select cast members from the hit ‘reality’ show showcasing the new collection.
Independent Agency MAG, which has also worked for Perry Ellis and Isabel Marant, has created a campaign which will air across ITV, CH4 and video on demand (VoD) platforms.
Quiz’s head of marketing Lesley Morton said it’s the first time the company has launched a national TV ad campaign. The movie into TV ads comes at an important time for the brand which has recently also launched menswear, but which this month also issued a profit warning as trading conditions remain tough.
Morton said the company was “impressed by MAG and their understanding of the Quiz brand and vision. This partnership was a natural fit, as QUIZ focuses on delivering the latest trends at high quality standards whilst maintaining value for money, which resonates perfectly with the TOWIE audience.”
