Rihanna's Savage X Fenty lingerie line was designed to suit all moods

After weeks of teasing, Rihanna has unveiled her debut lingerie collection to the world. The superstar's Savage X Fenty line went live on Friday, following weeks of sneak glimpses offered up on social media.

The 90-piece collection is divided into four categories dubbed "On The Reg," "U Cute," "Damn" and "Black Widow." The series encompasses everything from practical t-shirt bras to glamorous teddies and racier corsets, with sheer jumpsuits and robes thrown in for good measure.

Rihanna has adopted an inclusive business model, with bra sizes running from 32A to 44DD and underwear sizes ranging from XS to 3X, plus a fashion forward color palette running the gamut from staple underwear hues of black and beige to playful lilac, lime green and pink.

"I can only hope to encourage confidence and strength by showing lingerie in another light," Rihanna told Vogue ahead of the launch. "You don't have to stick to one personality with lingerie; it's fun to play around."

While most fans will have to buy the pieces online at savagex.com, those based in New York will be able to browse the collection in person, thanks to a new pop-up store that will remain open through May 12.

The launch comes at a busy time for Rihanna, who hit the headlines earlier this week for her show-stopping appearance at the Met Gala, which she co-hosted alongside Donatella Versace and Amal Clooney. The singer also sent beauty fans into a spin earlier this month with a new makeup tutorial, in which she teased multiple upcoming products from her Fenty Beauty brand.
