Self-Portrait unveils Lunar New Year campaign and collection
Premium brand Self-Portrait is celebrating Lunar New Year with a dedicated collection and accompanying campaign captured by British-Chinese photographer Alexandra Leese.
Directed by Self-Portrait Founder and Creative Director Han Chong and styled by Audrey Hu, the campaign “celebrates family and friendship through a series of images capturing the importance of unity, community and shared rituals. Drawing inspiration from their heritage, Han and Alexandra wanted to embrace both the intimacy and energy of these familial moments of tradition”.
The new Lunar New Year collection features womenswear and kidswear pieces, including designs inspired by the cheongsam.
There are vibrant reds and delicate pastels in the label’s signature guipure lace, crepe, bouclé, and knitted fabrics. The recently-launched Bow Bag is also reinterpreted for the new season in red, gold and silver.
The next Lunar New Year kicks off late next month but the collection is already available to buy online at self-portrait.com, in stores around the world, and across its global network of partner retailers.
