Amazon-owned online retailer Shopbop launched on Monday Shopbop Beauty, introducing a new curated assortment of both established and emerging beauty brands.

Shopbop launches Shopbop Beauty - OUAI

The new category made its debut with a campaign celebrating individuality, inclusivity, self-expression, and beauty as a final touch.

In particular, key beauty categories include skin care, makeup, hair care, beauty tools and brushes, as well as bath and body. Meanwhile, the online destination houses brands such as Ouai, Costa Brazil, Joanna Vargas, Olaplex, Augustinus Bader, Uoma Beauty, and more. The debut also boasts on-site sections featuring Black-owned brands, clean beauty selects, and industry must-haves.

Shopbop is currently home to fashion finds from brands like Anine Bing, By Far, and more. The new curated beauty section expands the retailers offering making it a one-stop-shop for head-to-toe looks.

It joins dozens of other brands and retailers that are delving into beauty. Most recently, cosmetics giant Estée Lauder inked a deal with Balmain for a beauty license.

Likewise, earlier this year Farfetch made a major move in beauty with the online retail giant launching the super-category on its e-tail marketplace. Around the same time, fashion brand Off-White officially entered the beauty category with a new genderless range dubbed ‘Paperwork’.
